Not everything goes the way we hope but at least you learned something from it. Call it a lesson; life is about learning. Everything you say or do, whatever happens...it's all a lesson that we learn and grow from but you can only grow if you paid attention to the lesson in the situation. Most of the time, we learn more about ourselves. The bumps during the journey are like quizzes to prepare you for the big test. It's up to you to pass...or fail. That situation was a bump. You discovered some things. The lessons from your past experiences will make it easier for the future, for you to finally be in that happier place you want to be. Never regret trying because if you didn't try, you probably would never know what you know now.
